This fundamentally changes the game and creates a focus on serving not unlike the spin serve. I believe this to be detrimental not only to the recreational player, but changed the game at the professional level to be a bastardized version of tennis.
Pickleball is a unique sport and should celebrate that uniqueness.

Absolutely reject this proposal. Since inception, the serve in Pickleball has intentionally been designed to Not be that of tennis, and not to try an Ace the opponent. The options of volley or drop serve, already give players options to find a serve that works for them. Pickleball is not tennis!

I do not support this rule change, for the reasons already given, as well as the fact over hand motions are harder on the shoulder and add to rotator cuff injuries in sports such as volleyball, baseball, tennis that use overhand motions. The underhand motion is not as strenuous on the body.

I disagree with this proposed change and concur and support the comments already stated.

Totally disagree with the proposal.
Guiding Principle #8 is violated " Preserve the unique features of the sport.
