Existing Rule #4.A.2
Proposed Rule Change

4.A.2. Placement. The server must serve to the correct service court. The serve may clear or touch the net and must clear the NVZ and the NVZ lines. The serve may land on any other service court line

4.A.2.a. Except for mini-singles, the correct service court is the court diagonally opposite the server

4.A.2.b. For mini-singles, the correct service court is determined by the receiver’s score.  If the receiver’s score is even, the server will serve to the right side of the receiver’s court.  If the receiver’s score is odd, the server will serve to the left side of the receiver’s court.  Since the server is also lined up based on their score, some serves will be diagonal, and some serves will be straight across.

Original Rule Text
