| Reasoning Behind Suggested Change | I think this rule is becoming increasingly necessary for several reasons. 1) With advances in technology, players could receive electronic coaching through such devices during the match and neither the opponents nor the referees would know. 2) Player safety. 3) Players being able to clearly hear calls (score, lines, etc) throughout the game and not wasting time asking things to be repeated for them to hear. |
