|Proposed Rule Change|
For the purpose of line calls, the ball is treated as if it makes contact with the playing surface at a single point. If this point is outside the line, the ball is considered to be out. The ball is not treated as deformable for line calls.

|Reasoning Behind Suggested Change|
This rule will (hopefully!) end all debate regarding how much a pickleball deforms when it bounces on the playing surface, and whether the ball deforms enough to touch a line in a line call situation.
