While I don’t particularly care for wild colors on Pickleballs, the option of colored ball should remain with the TD. Yellow balls in sunlight with white paddles are easily lost coming off the paddle because of the reflectivity. Green is easier to see. Orange for non-hard court surfaces is fine but some TDS prefer green for these situations as well. This is unduly restrictive.

There are numerous conditions/ court colors that can impact the color of the ball. For example; Not all indoor play is on a wood floor. To regulate the color for both indoor as well as outdoor play is too restrictive.
